Our pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters have added up! Since the middle of January, we have collected $7.70! Morah sent our money to a Hatian relief organization.
Here is the letter we got back:
Dear Pre-K Class,
It is with deepest appreciation that I write on behalf of Chabad Haiti Relief Fund to thank you for your generous gift. (Please note your receipt below.)
Your partnership will enable us to bring hope, support and encouragement to the citizens and aid workers of Haiti.
Indeed, perhaps just knowing that there are people around the world like you who care about them, who are praying for them, and who are supporting their efforts, can be a source of strength and colsolation for the victims' hard road ahead.
